What causes i can't see the road when i back out?
Time and species choice. Crowns get lower as they get heavier: limbs that cleared a car ten years ago sag under their own annual growth and under snow and ice loading, and they never spring back. Add trees planted too close to the pavement edge, ornamental species that branch low by nature, volunteer seedlings nobody planted along a fence line, and the seasonal swing between bare winter branches and full summer leaf that leaves the same corner safe in February and blind in July.
What you'd see
You have to push the nose of the car past the end of the driveway and into the travel lane before you can see oncoming traffic. Low limbs hanging into the line of sight, a crown that starts at chest height, foliage that was fine in April and is a solid wall by July. A corner where you have started relying on hearing rather than seeing. Delivery drivers and the mail carrier swinging wide around it.
