If a conductor is down near you, shuffle away with your feet together rather than stepping. Critically: distribution circuits use automatic reclosers, so a line that went dead can re-energize by itself within seconds without any crew arriving. Never treat quiet as safe.
Whether it can still be saved
The question is premature and stays premature until the line is de-energized and grounded by the utility crew. After that, plenty of these trees are perfectly sound and need nothing more than directional clearance pruning to get the canopy back out of the corridor and keep it out.
