Two confirmed tornadoes have hit Beech Grove itself: an EF1 on May 30, 2015 (about $49,000 in property damage) and an EF1 on June 15, 2019 during the June 15-17 outbreak, which did roughly $1.08 million in damage. Marion County has logged 47 tornadoes between 1950 and 2025. The county was also raked by the June 29, 2012 derecho, and local reporting places Beech Grove in the February 19, 2026 hail and wind event and Marion County among the counties in the June 2026 state disaster declaration.
