How do I know if my tree has aphids?
Sticky honeydew on everything under the tree, curled leaves, ants running up the trunk, sooty mould following. It attacks maple, linden, tulip poplar, birch.

Rarely a health problem for a mature tree. It's a nuisance problem — the honeydew is what makes people call.
