Amur Maple in central Indiana
A small imported ornamental planted for brilliant red fall color that has escaped cultivation across the upper Midwest. Calls about it are almost never structural — they are either "it has outgrown the spot by the front door" or "it is seeding into my beds and the fencerow," making it a rare case where removal gets recommended for reasons having nothing to do with safety.
