How it goes
A crew walks the site, sets up drop zones and protection, and works from the top down — the tree comes apart in pieces rather than coming over in one. Brush is chipped as it comes down, so the yard clears progressively rather than all at the end.
What decides how long it takes
Diameter at the widest point, which is what most crews price on. Grinding depth — enough to seed over, or enough to build on. Access for the grinder, gate width in particular.
What you need to do
