Does a tulip poplar drop a lot of debris?

Litter runs all season: orange-and-green flower tepals in June that stain concrete and get tracked indoors, dry cone-like fruit clusters that shed scales through fall and winter, and steady small twig drop. The one that actually generates phone calls is the sticky film — scale and aphid honeydew that makes decks tacky and grows black mold on siding, gutters, and any vehicle parked under the canopy.
