Are white mulberry roots a problem for foundations or pipes?
Shallow, wide, and opportunistic — mulberry roots surface in lawns and press against garage slabs, walks, and light retaining walls, and they are routinely found in the seam where a seedling germinated between a foundation and a driveway. The operational point is that felling it does not kill it: stump and roots resprout hard, so a mulberry removal has to include stump grinding or a cut-stump herbicide treatment or the customer has a thicket in two years.

Roughly 30 to 50 feet tall and about as wide, reached fast — often inside 20 years — with a working landscape life ended by structure rather than by age. That is a mid-bracket removal by size, but because it is rarely a single clean stem and is usually jammed against a fence, garage, or service drop, expect a rigging job plus stump grinding rather than a straight fell.
